The cast for Fox’s GOTHAM keeps filling out: former TERRIERS star Donal Logue has joined the BATMAN prequel series as Detective Harvey Bullock, Warner Bros. announced.
So who is Detective Bullock? According to a character description, “Jim Gordon’s partner and mentor, the rough-around-the-edges Detective Harvey Bullock plays loose with police procedure, but he gets results … and he does it with old-school, forceful panache.”
Logue joins the previously announced cast of Ben McKenzie, Robin Lord Taylor, Zabryna Guevara, Sean Pertwee, and Erin Richards.
Are you excited about Logue’s casting?

Fox’s new series, GOTHAM, has found its lead: former THE OC/SOUTHLAND star Ben McKenzie.
GOTHAM focuses on the Batman/DC Comics universe, but the story won’t be focusing on Bruce Wayne. Instead, the prequel series will focus on a younger (future Commissioner) James Gordon (McKenzie), and the criminals who made Gotham famous.
Are you excited to see McKenzie in this role?

Fox Gives Series Commitment to GOTHAM

Comments Off on Fox Gives Series Commitment to GOTHAM
The new television season has barely started and Fox has already made its second series commitment for projects that won’t bow until at least 2014. While the first series was a Tina Fey-produced comedy, this time around, a Fox rep has confirmed the network has ordered GOTHAM, a show that will be set in the DC Comics/Batman universe.
And while many superhero television shows focus on origin stories of the central figures (ARROW, SMALLVILLE, the upcoming potential FLASH spinoff), this one is aiming to be different: GOTHAM will follow the origin story of Commissioner James Gordon and the criminals who “made Gotham famous.” The show comes from THE MENTALIST creator Bruno Heller.
Deadline was first to break the news.
