‘I Wish it Was Christmas Today’: Jimmy Fallon Reunites with Former SNL Castmates (and Ariana Grande) to Perform the Holiday Classic

The SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE classic “I Wish It Was Christmas Today” got a 2018 revival with a performance on the Tuesday episode of THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON.

Fallon, who was part of the original quartet that performed the song on the variety sketch show, brought back his former SNL co-stars Horatio Sanz, Tracy Morgan, and Chris Kattan to recreate the song with him. (The holiday tune has been revived a number of times throughout the years on SNL, primarily with the core quartet.)
