The end of FRINGE is (nearly) here.
Over the weekend, the cast and crew of FRINGE celebrated the end of the series — and the milestone 100th episode — before production started on episode 13 (“An Enemy of Fate”) today.
And while the end of the era is certainly bittersweet, FRINGE showrunner (and writer/director of the episode) J.H. Wyman has plans to keep fans in the loop through the production of the series finale.
Take a look at what Wyman will be doing over the next few weeks…
FRINGE: J.H. Wyman on ‘An Origin Story,’ Olivia’s Memories, Bell, Donald, and More

We’re approaching another FRINGE Friday, but this one may be a little more bittersweet than most: following the death of Etta, it sure seems like Peter and Olivia will (understandably) be taking this loss incredibly hard. But there’s still a war to fight and nine more episodes to do it in.
To get a little more insight into what’s to come, I sought out FRINGE showrunner J.H. Wyman. The interview was conducted before Etta’s death, so there aren’t any questions specifically relating to that. However, in hindsight, his answers on the topic of Simon’s fate could shed some light into some of the (possible) reasoning for Etta’s death: “…that’s what we really wanted to get across: that the Observers are not messing around.”
Take a look at more from Wyman, including his teases about “An Origin Story,” Olivia’s memories, Bell, Donald, and more…

In case you’ve doubted the usefulness of Twitter, clearly you’re not following FRINGE showrunner J.H. Wyman. Earlier today, he tweeted out the episode title for the sixth hour of the final season (“Through the Looking Glass and What Walter Found There,” in case you missed that nugget), so when he and I got on the phone this afternoon, I couldn’t resist asking what episode seven would be called.

It’s no secret FRINGE executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman like to keep their cards close to the vest when it comes to spoilers for the series, but they were in a surprisingly revealing mood Sunday before their WonderCon panel.
Not only were the showrunners willing to elaborate (a teeny tiny bit) on the much-discussed episode 19, but they also shared that a major season-long debate will be settled in this Friday’s brand new episode.
Intrigued? Take a look at what else they told reporters, including a director change for the season finale, and their thoughts on a potential season 5…
