FBI and FBI: INTERNATIONAL collide in a more major way on the Tuesday, April 9 episode, “Remove the Compromise,” as Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) heads to Budapest for a case with ties to long-time FBI nemesis Vargas (David Zayas). (Vargas is locked up, and the Fly Team is tracking his cartel.)
Though Sisto had appeared in four episodes of INTERNATIONAL’s first two seasons, he has played a larger presence in season 3, with this mini-crossover marking his fifth appearance of the year.

After a roller coaster year for FBI’s Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) things had finally leveled out—until the Tuesday, January 24 episode, “Breakdown,” when he gets a call from his ex, informing him about a new possible health issue with their son.
“He’s usually somebody who’s pretty good at not letting his emotions overtake him—he usually rests heavily on the evidence,” Sisto tells Give Me My Remote. “But he is in a world where hunches can sometimes be very good things to listen to, and he knows that.”

An investigation into a robbery spirals into something much more dangerous on the season finale of FBI. (Update: The episode will now air Tuesday, October 4.)

When LAW & ORDER returns for its 21st season in 2022, two of its original stars are onboard: Sam Waterston (who portrayed Executive Assistant District Attorney/District Attorney Jack McCoy for 16 seasons) and Anthony Anderson (who portrayed Detective Kevin Bernard for three seasons).
They aren’t the only performers from the final season of the iconic series who will have ties to mega-producer Dick Wolf‘s current TV slate: S. Epatha Merkerson, who portrayed Lieutenant Anita Van Buren, is starring on CHICAGO MED; FBI stars Jeremy Sisto (who portrayed Detective Cyrus Lupo) and Alana De La Garza (who portrayed Assistant District Attorney Connie Rubirosa).

Things are going well for Rina (Kathleen Munroe) and Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) in “Unfinished Business,” the Tuesday, December 14 episode of FBI—until, out of nowhere, Rina gets shot.
“What happens is very traumatic for anyone,” Sisto acknowledges. “Being in the FBI, Jubal has been through traumatizing events, but he…stays out of the line of fire, most of the time, in his position. And this, of course, goes beyond the job, because someone very close to him gets hurt. I think it’s an added psychological emotional disruption for Jubal, because he’s a recovering alcoholic, and it’s really is first effort putting himself out there.”
