THE FIRST LADY: Kiefer Sutherland Joins Showtime Anthology Series

Kiefer Sutherland has joined Showtime’s THE FIRST LADY as President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the network announced.

He’ll act opposite Gillian Anderson, who is portraying Eleanor Roosevelt. THE FIRST LADY, a scripted anthology series, also stars Viola Davis as Michelle Obama and Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford.

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY may have concluded a few weeks ago, but franchise star Kiefer Sutherland is in San Diego to talk about the show’s run with executive producer/direct Jon Cassar.
