CASTLE has booked Lance Reddick for a guest spot, a rep for the show has confirmed.
Reddick — who spent five seasons on FRINGE, and is now a regular on the Amazon series, BOSCH (in addition to appearing on shows like THE WIRE, LOST, INTELLIGENCE, AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN to name a few) — will appear in the final episode of season 7.
CASTLE star Penny Johnson Jerald (Gates) first revealed Reddick’s guest spot with a photo of herself, Reddick, and CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe.

Are you excited to see Reddick on CASTLE?
UPDATE (4/20/15): Per a rep for the show, Reddick will play “a mysterious but pivotal figure in the finale.” The official description of “Hollander’s Woods” — the season 7 finale — teases that a “death in the woods draws Castle back to a terrifying and defining event in his childhood. Investigation leads to obsession, as he attempts to unearth answers that have eluded him for decades, all while Beckett faces a crossroads of her own.”
CASTLE airs Mondays at 10 PM on ABC.

I spoke with FRINGE stars John Noble (Walter), Joshua Jackson (Peter), Jasika Nicole (Astrid), and Lance Reddick (Broyles) about reading those series-ending words, plus showrunner J.H. Wyman about reaching the end…
