When Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) returned to the LAW & ORDER universe after a decade away, a lot about the time between the fatal shooting that led to him quitting the NYPD and his attempt to show up for Olivia (Mariska Hargitay) getting honored was a mystery.

As LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME’s Nova (Nona Parker Johnson) settles into her role as Webb’s (Mykelti Williamson) right hand woman, she has increased power and attention on her—but that could make connecting with her NYPD boss, Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt), about the undercover opp a bit more convoluted.

Angela Wheatley (Tamara Taylor) was seemingly holding all—or at least many—of the cards on LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME…until a pesky glass of water ruined everything.
At a coffee meeting with Elliot (Christopher Meloni) during the January 6 episode, “Nemesis,” Angela continued her charade that she was still suffering from the effects of being poisoned, seemingly struggle to move and talk. But when Elliot knocked over a glass of water, Angela quickly caught it.

As if Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt), and the rest of the Organized Crime Control Bureau didn’t have enough trouble on their plate with the elusive Wheatley family, a new player has entered the mix: Robin Lord Taylor’s Sebastian McClane, AKA Constantine, a hacker who is on the run after breaking out of prison.
Richard (Dylan McDermott) seems to think he’s holding all the cards with McClane: the duo met on a prison transfer bus, and Richard promised he’d get the hacker out of jail. However, Taylor notes McClane is more skeptical of the businessman.

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME kicks off 2022 with the official launch of the “Nemesis” arc (starting, appropriately, with an episode called “Nemesis” on Thursday, January 6) as the Wheatley family once again takes center stage.
Though the family was only introduced to the LAW & ORDER universe in 2021, they’ve already managed to entirely overhaul Elliot Stabler’s (Christopher Meloni) life. But at this point very little is certain about them, as they’ve proven they can turn on even each other when given the right motivation.
Ahead of the next arc, we’re looking back at what Richard (Dylan McDermott), Angela (Tamara Taylor), Dana (Christina Karis), and Richie (Nick Creegan) have done so far and how dangerous they could be going forward…

LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME’s Organized Crime Control Bureau got a major win when they were able take down the Kosta family at the end of the sophomore season’s first pod. But things were a little more complex for the task force itself.
With Sergeant Bill Brewster (Guillermo Diaz) temporarily reassigned to work (and co-lead the team) with Sergeant Ayanna Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) for the duration of the case, the former colleagues did their best to get through the assignment. And though Bell got to keep the task force when the case wrapped up, there was a twist in store: Lieutenant Moennig (Daniel Oreskes) revealed that Brewster had been promoted and was now, essentially, Bell’s boss. (Again.)

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT and ORGANIZED CRIME Bosses Share How They’ve Crafted a Shared Universe

As LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT was finishing out its (COVID-impacted) milestone 21st season, a bombshell dropped: NBC had ordered a new L&O series, ORGANIZED CRIME, to be led by former SVU star Christopher Meloni, reprising his role as Elliot Stabler.
Given Meloni’s importance to the first dozen years of SVU’s run—and with his former on-screen partner, Mariska Hargitay, still on SVU, leading up the series as now-Captain Olivia Benson—immediately there were questions about how the two shows might intersect. While, historically, the L&Os were contained to their own show worlds (minus the occasional crossover), in recent years, executive producer Dick Wolf had crafted an entire combined universe with the ONE CHICAGO shows and the growing FBI franchise.
