In honor of what should have been NCAA tournament season, Give Me My Remote is running our own kind of bracket, pitting similarly titled episodes against each other: Couch Madness! (Credit for the excellent name goes fellow reporter Chris Hayner.)
The seeding is simple: rather than quality, we’re going by air date (with the oldest episode getting the #1 slot and the newest getting #8). With Peak TV, this will not include every single show that has used this title; rather, we picked a selection from what was available.
It’s now up for the final round, which will run from Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10.
Next in this last match-up? “Tabula Rasa.” Keep reading for the bracket, episode descriptions (from IMDB), and the poll. (For the other episodes competing, check out all the brackets here!) Read more

PERSON OF INTEREST: Michael Emerson on the Evolution of Finch and Their Season 4 Sanctuary

As PERSON OF INTEREST has evolved over the years, so have the characters within the series. And while PERSON OF INTEREST star Michael Emerson has been a steady fixture on television for years, we’re nearly at the point where Harold Finch will be the longest running character he’s played (surpassing his run on LOST as Ben Linus).
I spoke with Emerson on the show’s New York set about that milestone and the evolution of Finch, plus, why he loves their new subway sanctuary set…

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME: Elizabeth Mitchell Joins in a Mysterious Role
Elizabeth Mitchell is coming to ONCE UPON A TIME, a rep for the show has confirmed.
According to EW (which was first to report the news), Mitchell — who spent the last two television seasons starring on the recently-canceled NBC series, REVOLUTION — will play a mysterious character with ties to the upcoming FROZEN storyline.
The move also marks a mini-LOST reunion for Mitchell, and ONCE UPON A TIME co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, as well as ONCE star Emilie de Ravin (Belle). (Mitchell played Juliet on the ABC series, de Ravin played Claire, and Horowitz and Kitsis were writers.)
Are you excited to see what Mitchell will be up to on ONCE UPON A TIME?

Before the show’s anniversary panel this past weekend at PaleyFest, I spoke with LOST co-showrunner Carlton Cuse, and stars Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond) about the show’s legacy…

ONCE UPON A TIME: Rebecca Mader Joins the Show For a Mysterious Role

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME: Rebecca Mader Joins the Show For a Mysterious Role
ONCE UPON A TIME has cast former LOST star Rebecca Mader as the next big villain for the show, a rep for the show has confirmed…but we’re going to have to wait a few weeks to find out who she’s playing.
According to E!Online (which was first to break the casting news), Mader’s character will be revealed in a promo after the December 15th mid-season finale touting the adventures to come in the second half of the season.
So…any guesses about what character Mader might be playing? It seems so many of the biggies have already been portrayed on the show!

J.J. Abrams on What Sets ALMOST HUMAN Apart from the Other Bad Robot Shows
November 7, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company has been behind some of the best (and nerdiest) shows of the past decade and a half (FELICITY, ALIAS, LOST, FRINGE are a few of the former shows, while PERSON OF INTEREST and REVOLUTION are currently on the air), and on Sunday, November 17th, Fox will debut the Bad Robot latest show: ALMOST HUMAN, a futuristic cop drama created by former FRINGE boss Joel Wyman.
Given the wide array of shows Bad Robot has produced, I asked Abrams during a conference call to promote ALMOST HUMAN what he felt set this show apart from all the other ones he’s had a hand in before.
