Comments Off on GMMR TV Awards: Favorite New Drama Series – Vote Now!
After two weeks of Give Me My Remote readers nominating their television favorites from the past year, it’s time to vote for the 5th Annual GMMR TV Awards!
Most of the categories have five nominees, but due to ties, the number can vary per topic. (And, as a reminder, each category can only have two nominees per show, so only the top two vote-getters from any series moved forward to the voting round.)
Next up: “Favorite New Drama Series.”

There are a ton, ton, ton of new shows launching this season, and it’s going to get difficult to keep track of them all.
To help you out, for every new show, I’m going to basically create a hub of info on the day of the premiere — pilot photos, what’s been written about it so far, and when you can watch it.
Next up, MADAM SECRETARY…

My friend/vodcast partner, Danielle Turchiano, and I have been talking about the new fall shows in our vodcast (we started with ABC yesterday, in case you missed that), but things took a turn when we got to CBS.
With Danielle’s choice of show, MADAM SECRETARY, I found myself in a position I didn’t quite expect — I had really enjoyed the pilot when I watched it earlier this summer, but as I took the TV “hiatus” to catch up on THE GOOD WIFE, I viewed the MADAM SECRETARY pilot a bit differently.
Check out what we had to say about those shows, plus the new Kevin Williamson series, STALKER…
