ARROW: John Barrowman Weighs in on Malcolm’s Potential Role in Sara’s Resurrection

ARROW’s Malcolm was instrumental in Sara’s death in the show’s third season, and if John Barrowman (Malcolm) has a choice in the matter, he’ll also be key to her upcoming resurrection. (Sara — and her portrayer, Caity Lotz — are a key component to the ARROW/FLASH spinoff, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.)

“We know she is alive — will be back — obviously, because of LEGENDS [OF TOMORROW],” Barrowman told reporters in the video below. “How’s she’s brought back to life, that will be the interesting part. I’d like to think Malcolm has a little bit of hand in bringing her back.”

They won’t be off-screen: a rep for the show confirms that not only is Merlyn’s portrayer, John Barrowman, coming back, but he’s been bumped up to a series regular spot on the show.
