NURSE JACKIE to End With Season 7

NURSE JACKIE will sign off after its upcoming seventh season, Showtime announced. Production will start on the show’s final season this week. (The final season will air in 2015.)

Showtimes Renews NURSE JACKIE

Showtime has renewed NURSE JACKIE for a seventh season, the network announced.

The renewal comes before season 6 has even premiered. (Season 6 kicks off April 13th at 9 PM.) Season 7 will start production later this year.

NURSE JACKIE Renewed for Season 6

NURSE JACKIE will be returning for a sixth season on Showtime, the network announced in a press release.

“NURSE JACKIE is an essential part of the SHOWTIME brand, and we are thrilled with the series’ growth in its fifth season,” said David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., in a statement. “Under the new leadership of Clyde Phillips, and with an amazing cast led by Edie Falco, this show is as sharp and compelling and entertaining as ever. I’m excited to get to see the next chapter in Jackie’s life.”

Season 6 of NURSE JACKIE is set to debut sometime in 2014. In the meantime, season 5 wraps up on Sunday, June 16th at 9 PM.
