ONCE UPON A TIME is really making use of REVOLUTION’s cancellation: one day after the show officially booked Elizabeth Mitchell for a mysterious guest spot, a rep for the show has confirmed that Giancarlo Esposito will return to OUAT in the fourth season premiere. TVGuide.com was first to report Esposito’s return.
Esposito has played Sidney Glass/Magic Mirror in a handful of episodes on the ABC series since early in the show’s run. There’s no word right now on which version of his character he’ll be playing, but the season 4 premiere does officially kick off the FROZEN arc.

Elizabeth Mitchell is coming to ONCE UPON A TIME, a rep for the show has confirmed.
According to EW (which was first to report the news), Mitchell — who spent the last two television seasons starring on the recently-canceled NBC series, REVOLUTION — will play a mysterious character with ties to the upcoming FROZEN storyline.
The move also marks a mini-LOST reunion for Mitchell, and ONCE UPON A TIME co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, as well as ONCE star Emilie de Ravin (Belle). (Mitchell played Juliet on the ABC series, de Ravin played Claire, and Horowitz and Kitsis were writers.)

ONCE UPON A TIME’s Elsa is going to look familiar to TV fans: a rep for the show confirms that Georgina Haig (who played Peter and Olivia’s daughter, Etta, on the fourth and fifth seasons of FRINGE) has landed the role.
OUAT viewers got their first glimpse of Elsa in the third season finale, as Emma and Hook accidentally brought the (locked up) Elsa back with them after their time-traveling adventures. (Which also included Emma saving Robin Hood’s wife, Marion, from death, much to Regina’s chagrin.)
Haig (who is currently on CBS’ RECKLESS) will be joined during this FROZEN arc by recently cast Scott Michael Foster (Kristoff) and Elizabeth Lail (Anna).

FROZEN is coming to ONCE UPON A TIME, and now two of the key roles have been cast: a rep for the show confirms that GREEK’s Scott Michael Foster and newcomer Elizabeth Lail will join the series as Kristoff and Anna. TVLine was first to report the news.
ONCE’s Anna is said to be a “fun-loving, fearless optimist,” while Kristoff is a “handsome, hearty, salt-of-the-earth ice cutter.”
There’s no word yet on who will play Elsa during the FROZEN arc.

It’s official: ONCE UPON A TIME has been renewed for a fourth season, a rep for the show confirmed.
The news, while not a surprise, was one of the first renewals ABC has made for the upcoming 2014-2015. (ABC has waited to renew their shows, even the ones that are slam dunks, in recent years.)
