Comments Off on PRODIGAL SON: Tom Payne Teases Malcolm’s ‘Desperate’ Quest to Find Martin
With PRODIGAL SON’s Martin (Michael Sheen) MIA after breaking out of Claremont, “Malcolm is on a quest to find his father,” Tom Payne (who plays profiler Malcolm Bright) previews. “It’s always about the connection that Malcolm and Martin have. In episode 12, Malcolm is even more desperate to find him and will do anything.”
But what Malcolm doesn’t realize is that Martin isn’t by himself—the last episode revealed that Vivian (Catherine Zeta-Jones) was hiding the Surgeon in the trunk of her car.
“The storyline goes in very interesting directions in these last few episodes,” Payne teases. “The end of episode 12, really, could be the finale to the whole season. And when I saw it for the first time…obviously, I read the script, but just watching the episode, I was able to put myself in the shoes of a viewer, and be like, ‘What the hell happens now? What the hell happens after this last episode?”‘
Can’t wait? Check out photos from the penultimate episode, “Sun and Fun,” airing Tuesday, May 11…
