THE WEST WING Reunion Gets New Trailer, TNT Sets Aaron Sorkin-Curated Marathon

With THE WEST WING reunion, A WEST WING SPECIAL TO BENEFIT WHEN WE ALL VOTE, set to debut in a week, HBO Max has released an official trailer of the cast reuniting to recreate “Hartsfield’s Landing.”

The special will include original stars Rob Lowe, Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, and Martin Sheen as well as appearances by Michelle Obama, President Bill Clinton, and Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear in special act breaks.

The reunion is being done to draw awareness to When We All Vote, a non-profit, nonpartisan organization co-chaired by Michelle Obama. (WarnerMedia made a donation in honor of the reunion.)

Fox is adding THE GRINDER and ROSEWOOD to its 2015-2016 lineup.

THE GRINDER, a single-cam comedy from writers Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, stars Rob Lowe as an actor who moves back home after his long-running television series ends. (Fox’s take: “Rob Lowe stars as beloved TV lawyer Dean Sanderson (aka “The Grinder”), with Fred Savage starring as his brother, Stewart. PARKS AND RECREATION: Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones to Exit

Well, this (literally) might bring down your day: Rob Lowe (Chris) and Rashida Jones (Ann) are set to leave PARKS AND RECREATION.

While NBC had no comment, a source confirms the Buzzfeed report that says Lowe and Jones will be exiting the comedy during the show’s upcoming sixth season. (Buzzfeed says their final episode will be the 13th.)
