SAVED BY THE BELL is returning, following a new generation, in November, but the first trailer has a special treat for fans of the original series: Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and Mario Lopez (who star in the revival) reuniting with guest stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen.
In the new Peacock series, “when California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many underfunded high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the most well-funded schools in the state – including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the privileged Bayside kids (who never have a problem that can’t be solved in twenty-two minutes) a much-needed dose of reality.”

In the new comedy, “when California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the most well-funded schools in the state—including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the privileged Bayside kids (who never have a problem that can’t be solved in twenty-two minutes) a much-needed dose of reality.” The series, from Tracey Wigfield, follows a mix of familiar SBTB faces and newbies.
