As Nina (Shantel VanSanten) was struggling with how to best mother her young son—and how to co-parent with FBI’s Scola (John Boyd)—she leaned on an unexpected person: her Fugitive Task Force colleague, Barnes (Roxy Sternberg).
After they solved their case on the Tuesday, April 9 episode, “Supply Chain,” Nina confessed what had been bothering her as they tried to find a mom who was trying to avenge her son’s untimely death via a drug overdose: She and Scola got into a fight—and now was going to be late coming home.
