Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW: Roberto Orci and Heather Kadin Tease the New Faces in Season 2
SLEEPY HOLLOW has added a good amount of new faces to its already impressive lineup for the upcoming second season: Ben Franklin, the new sheriff, and a bounty hunter. And, of course, there’s also the return of Abraham/Headless.
So what can viewers expect from these new faces? And will more new characters be joining them? SLEEPY HOLLOW executive producers Roberto Orci and Heather Kadin had a few good teases to share about which character will be stripping down, which characters will be sharing sparks, and more…

Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW Season 2: Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Mark Goffman, and Len Wiseman Tease Abbie and Ichabod’s Reunion
When SLEEPY HOLLOW’s first season concluded, every character was put in a pretty terrible position, and as showrunner Mark Goffman pointed out at the time, “These are the worst of situations to find themselves in, and they’re all separated.”
But the characters — especially Abbie and Ichabod — can’t stay separated forever. And since production of SLEEPY HOLLOW’s second season is underway right now, at Monday night’s FYC event, I asked series stars Tom Mison (Ichabod) and Nicole Beharie (Abbie), and executive producers Goffman and Len Wiseman what they could tease about Abbie and Ichabod’s eventual reunion…

Another bit of SLEEPY HOLLOW casting news: a rep has confirmed that the series has cast HOUSE OF CARDS’ Sakina Jaffrey as Leena Reyes, a new sheriff who will be (hopefully temporarily) taking over for Captain Irving, since Irving ended last season in jail in an attempt to protect his family. The casting was first announced by E! News.
In March before the show’s PaleyFest panel, SLEEPY HOLLOW producer Heather Kadin teased that they were looking to cast a woman to “replace” Irving as he dealt with his legal issues.
SLEEPY HOLLOW Recruits HELLCATS’ Matt Barr

Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW Recruits HELLCATS’ Matt Barr
SLEEPY HOLLOW is adding another member to “the ultimate collection of underdogs” in season 2: a rep for the show has confirmed that Matt Barr (HELLCATS, HARPER’S ISLAND) has landed the role of Nick Hawley, a “ruggedly handsome” bounty hunter who will help on a case. Since Barr is scheduled to recur, it seems like the case will go well.
TVLine was first to report the casting.
Are you excited to see Barr on SLEEPY HOLLOW?

SLEEPY HOLLOW: Should Jenny Survive? Lyndie Greenwood Weighs In!

Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW: Should Jenny Survive? Lyndie Greenwood Weighs In!
SLEEPY HOLLOW’s first season ended with a whole lot of cliffhangers, but one of the potentially more deadly ones was Jenny’s very bad car crash. And while Lyndie Greenwood (Jenny) has been confirmed as a series regular for the upcoming second season, on SLEEPY HOLLOW, screen time doesn’t have to equal actually being alive. (For instance: John Cho’s Andy, who died in the show’s first episode, still appeared in about half of season 1.)
But would Greenwood rather Jenny survive, or, perhaps, would she enjoy getting to play some kind of supernatural version of her character? She weighed in…

SLEEPY HOLLOW’s Headless Horseman will continue to play a part in the show’s storytelling: a rep for the series confirms that Neil Jackson, who played Abraham Van Brunt (AKA Headless) in the first season episode, “Necromancer,” will recur in the show’s upcoming second season.
SLEEPY HOLLOW Season 2 Will Have 18 Episodes

SLEEPY HOLLOW’s second season is going to be 18 episodes, Kevin Reilly, Chairman, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX), confirmed on a conference call with reporters.
“Last year, SLEEPY HOLLOW, in its first season, was making mini-movies every week,” Reilly pointed out. “It was a big show. We stopped when we felt we could put out a creatively excellent product. I think the show ended on a high note, as opposed to teasing it out for six or nine episodes, and having it barely hold together, and having a lot of repeats to get there.
“The other part of it is SLEEPY HOLLOW has now been back in series production for already a month for [season 2],” he continued. “Next year, our order on SLEEPY HOLLOW is 18 episodes. We will have almost all 18 in a row. They are now in series production a good two months before just about any returning drama on television. The show is going to be really, really strong.”
Are you excited to get more SLEEPY HOLLOW next season?

SLEEPY HOLLOW’s Nicole Beharie: I Know Abbie’s Ready to Fight in Season 2
April 18, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
SLEEPY HOLLOW left Abbie in arguably the most vulnerable spot she’s ever been in — both literally and figuratively — and while series star Nicole Beharie (Abbie) allowed that her character “may be losing her mind” in purgatory, she was also firm that Abbie would be ready to fight.
Check out what Beharie had to say before the SLEEPY HOLLOW PaleyFest panel about Abbie’s changes, and how the reveal of Jeremy’s paternity will impact her…

Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW: Len Wiseman on the Scope of Season 2
SLEEPY HOLLOW was a visually stunning show in season 1, and there is no indication anything should change next season. In fact, the scope of the show should grow, now that the second Horseman, War, has been revealed and his human form will be playing a major part in the new season.
Before the show’s recent PaleyFest panel, I talked with SLEEPY HOLLOW co-creator/director, Len Wiseman, about what he could tease about the scope of season 2…

SLEEPY HOLLOW viewers still have months to go before the show returns to our televisions, but the writers are hard at work shaping what’s to come in season 2.
To get a little tease of what’s to come (beyond the post-finale teases), I spoke with SLEEPY HOLLOW showrunner Mark Goffman and executive producer Heather Kadin about the new faces coming to town (including the possibility of the new police captain being a female), how long the search for Katrina might last this time, and more…

It’s been exactly two months since SLEEPY HOLLOW’s first season concluded, and production on the upcoming season is still in the earliest of stages. So with months (and months and months) to go before viewers get SLEEPY HOLLOW season 2, what are fans to do to pass the time?
Well, there’s some good news: before Wednesday’s PaleyFest panel honoring the series, SLEEPY HOLLOW boss Mark Goffman teased they do have some fun things in store to help make the wait a little less torturous.
Check out what they’re planning…

SLEEPY HOLLOW Season 2: John Noble and Lyndie Greenwood Promoted to Series Regulars
January 28, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under Sleepy Hollow, TV News
SLEEPY HOLLOW season 1 just concluded, but we’ve already had a handful of spoilers to keep us talking about the show for the foreseeable future. And now, a little more fuel to the fire (and a spoiler alert here for the first season finale): a rep for the show confirms that John Noble (Henry) and Lyndie Greenwood (Jenny) have been bumped up to series regulars for season 2. Deadline was first to report the new contracts.
