SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE brought back “The Californians” for its 40th anniversary celebration, and in addition to Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Kenan Thompson, and Fred Armisen reprising their roles, they brought in Laraine Newman, Betty White, Taylor Swift, Kerry Washington, and Bradley Cooper to play.

What’s impressive about this video is how many of the “known” characters from the show were there from the start. And, of course, many of them look so young.

For SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’s 40th anniversary special, the show brought back its “Celebrity Jeopardy” segment with Will Ferrell reprising his role as Alex Trebeck, and with celebrity guests “Sean Connery” (Darrell Hammond), “Justin Bieber” (Kate McKinnon), “Matthew McConaughey” (Jim Carrey), “Burt Reynolds” (Norm MacDonald), and “Christoph Waltz” (Taran Killam)…as well as a cameo from “Bill Cosby” (Kenan Thompson).
