When CASTLE returns on April 21st, the show is taking a trip to the ’70s…but don’t expect it to be a redux of, “Blue Butterfly,” the noir episode from two years ago.
“We have a really, really fun episode that takes us into the world of the 1970s, into the middle of the disco era,” CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe previewed last month. “It’s a different device than ‘Blue Butterfly,’ that allows us to see our characters in that era. So that’s going to be fun.”

Unfortunately, their only witness is a man who thinks it's still the 1970's, so to uncover what he knows, they must play into his delusion, and party like it's the last days of disco, on "Castle," MONDAY, APRIL 21 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (ABC/Danny Feld)NATHAN FILLION, MOLLY QUINN

CASTLE: Andrew Marlowe Teases ‘In The Belly of the Beast’

The last few episodes of CASTLE have been on the lighter side, but things take a drastic turn in next week’s hour, “In the Belly of the Beast”: a (relatively) simple request for Beckett spirals into something much, much worse.
“It’s an intense episode that puts Beckett into a very dangerous situation, unexpectedly,” CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe previewed. “She has to use her wits to survive. And it brings us back into contact with some old friends.”

Take a look at some photos from the hour…
CASTLE
CASTLE - "Room 147" - When a guilt-ridden young woman confesses to the murder of a struggling actor -- knowing details only the killer could know -- Beckett and Castle seem to have an open-and-shut case, until they uncover proof that their suspect couldn't possibly be the killer. CASTLE: Frances Fisher Previews Her Guest Role in ‘Dressed to Kill’

CASTLE had an unexpected week off, but the show returns this Monday with a brand new episode…and it just happens to dive a bit into Beckett’s modeling past.
In “Dressed to Kill” an assistant at MODERN FASHION is killed, so Beckett and Castle are called to investigate. Unfortunately for Kate, she needs to speak with MODERN FASHION boss Matilda King (a very DEVIL WEARS PRADA-esque/Anna Wintour-like woman), whom Beckett has a history with.
I spoke with CASTLE guest star — and fan of the show! — Frances Fisher (Matilda) to get a little more info about the hour…

ABC Boss Paul Lee is ‘Super Optimistic’ About the Future of CASTLE
August 4, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
Since CASTLE is about to go into its sixth season — and has made recent headlines with a contract dispute — after ABC President Paul Lee’s executive session at TCA, I asked him about the show’s future on his network.
“We feel very strong about the future of CASTLE,” Lee said. “Nathan [Fillion (Castle)] and Stana [Katic (Beckett)] are fantastic actors and we’re super optimistic. So we feel good about it.”
Are you happy to see Lee’s positive comments about the state of the show?

Before we get to the winners, once again, I want thank all of the fans who participated in this. CASTLE: ‘Still’ Photo Preview – Beckett’s Life is at Risk!
April 11, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
As if poor Castle and Beckett haven’t had enough high-stakes this season, the April 22nd episode, “Still,” could be the most dangerous hour yet: Beckett gets way too close to a bomb.
“[It’s] an emotionally charged episode,” CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe told me last month. “In the process of doing an investigation into a bombing, Beckett triggers a bomb and is put in a position where she can’t move or the bomb is going to go off. It’s a high-stakes, high-tension episode.”
Take a look at the photos from “Still”…
