YOU’RE THE WORST — one of the best shows on television last year — is premiering its second season on FXX on Wednesday, September 9th. And if you haven’t had the time to check out the series, the entire first season is now streaming on Hulu. (The first three episodes are free to everyone, but in order to unlock the the last seven episodes of season 1, you have to subscribe to their service. On the bright side, you can get two weeks free.)
The show, on the surface, is about two not-always-great people who reluctantly find themselves in a relationship with each other. But really, while the show follows Jimmy and Gretchen’s blossoming relationship, it’s just as much about them finding their own way and exploring their friendships with their not-sidekicks Lindsay and Edgar, too. It’s funny, it has heart, and it is absolutely worth your time to watch.
But in case you need a little bit more convincing, I asked YOU’RE THE WORST creator Stephen Falk to share why he feels newbies should check out the comedy.

In fact, these “Tomorrow People” have some pretty nifty skills (telekinesis, teleportation and telepathy) that can assist them in many things…including trying to avoid Ultra, an organization that is trying to track them down.
On the show’s Vancouver set last week, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE star Aaron Yoo (Russell) — with some help from his dog, Merlin — teased to reporters what viewers can expect from his character’s power, and how his relationship with the newest member of Team Tomorrow People, Stephen (played by Robbie Amell) will develop…
