Comments Off on Marisa’s Top 14 Episodes of 2014
For my top episodes of the year, I did something different this year: I didn’t let myself choose anything from my top shows of 2014. There are certainly shows there that could (and maybe should) have installments listed here, but considering how much television I watch, I wanted to expand the field of shows versus just going over (again) why I loved the top shows.
The following episodes aren’t ranked (they’re listed alphabetically), but I did note which one would have been number one if I had gone that route…
And have you seen Sarah and Kelly’s lists, too? Check out Sarah’s top shows and top episodes, as well as Kelly’s top shows and top episodes.
What was your favorite show this year?

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Robert Singer Teases the Impact of the Mark of Cain in Season 10
Demon Dean may be gone on SUPERNATURAL, but as the executive producers have teased, the storyline isn’t over: thanks to Dean’s Mark of Cain, things remain complicated. In fact, SUPERNATURAL executive producer Robert Singer teased that the mark is “the core of [the brothers’] emotional story” for the rest of the season.
Check out what else Singer had to tease…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: The Cast and Producers Share Their Love for the Fans
The relationship between SUPERNATURAL fans and its stars is a unique one — sure, other shows go to conventions, and some shows have conventions devoted solely to them, but the steady stream of SUPERNATURAL conventions all over the world connects the fans to the show in a way few other fandoms have.
But what do the stars and producers think of the fans? They shared their (incredibly sweet) thoughts…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL 200th Episode: The Cast and Producers Tease ‘Fan Fiction’
We’re just one day away from SUPERNATURAL’s 200th episode, and the hour — which SUPERNATURAL showrunner Jeremy Carver called “a love letter to the fans” — is one of the most meta-filled installments of the series.
I spoke with SUPERNATURAL stars Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam), as well as executive producers Carver, Robert Singer, and Adam Glass about what’s in store in “Fan Fiction”…

Over 199 episodes, SUPERNATURAL has introduced monsters, demons, angels, and so many things that go bump in the night. But, of course, some stand out a little bit more than others.
At the (first) celebration of SUPERNATURAL’s 200th episode, I asked star Jared Padalecki (Sam), and executive producers Jeremy Carver, Robert Singer, and Adam Glass which creatures were their favorites…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Osric Chau on his Castiel Dress, and Surprising Fans at Comic-Con
Osric Chau (Kevin) may not be an active part of SUPERNATURAL anymore — poor Kevin — but Chau has never hesitated to show his support for the series: whether it’s donning a Castiel dress for the 200th episode celebration this past week, or wearing a disguise at Comic-Con to ask a question to the panel.
To get a bit more insight, I spoke with Chau about his fantastic choice of outfit for the big party, and what it was like crashing the SUPERNATURAL Comic-Con panel…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Is There Anything Sera Gamble Wishes She Could Have Done on the Show?
Former SUPERNATURAL showrunner Sera Gamble got to do a lot with the series during her time on the show — Gamble was a writer on the series for the first five seasons, before becoming showrunner in seasons 6 and 7 — but what about the things she might not have been able to do on the show? I asked Gamble if there was anything she wished she had gotten on the show — and her answer was amazing…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Robbie Thompson on Writing Episode 200, ‘Fan Fiction’
SUPERNATURAL’s 200th episode is a wildly meta episode as Sam and Dean stumble upon an all-girls high school putting on a play…based on the Winchesters’ lives so far.
SUPERNATURAL co-executive producer Robbie Thompson was tasked with writing the hour, “Fan Fiction” — an episode he joked, in the video below, that he was willing to take out his fellow writers for the opportunity to pen — and I spoke with him about what’s in store for fans…

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Mark Sheppard on Dean and Crowley’s Fractured ‘Bromance’
SUPERNATURAL’s Dean and Crowley may have had a fairly short-lived camaraderie while Dean was in full-on demon state, but despite Crowley pushing him away — and Crowley telling Castiel last week that he was fine with Dean being killed if it meant “Deanmon” went away — Mark Sheppard (Crowley) teased the bromance isn’t quite over yet.
