AMERICA’S GOT TALENT season 14 went into production on Sunday, March 3—with new judges Gabrielle Union and Julianna Hough at the table. (Mel B and Heidi Klum had other obligations that kept them from the series: B’s Spice Girls reunion tour and Klum’s new Amazon series.)

Sometimes, there’s no keeping a good show down.
BROOKLYN NINE-NINE was canceled in May by Fox—as the network purged their live-action comedies—and social media exploded. Cut to two days later, the news broke that NBC had saved the beloved series. (NBC Universal produces the comedy.)
Now, the show is back and things are a bit different: the comedy is the same (the first two episodes are fantastic), but they’re allowed to do things like curse, with a bleep, and blur things…something they weren’t able to do on their previous network.
BROOKLYN NINE-NINE executive producer Dan Goor and series stars Andy Samberg (Jake), Andre Braugher (Holt), Melissa Fumero (Amy), Terry Crews (Terry), Chelsea Peretti (Gina), Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa), Joe Lo Truglio (Boyle), Dirk Blocker (Hitchcock), and Joel McKinnon Miller (Scully) spoke with reporters about the changes they’ve felt since they moved networks… Read more

Terry Crews on Choosing to Host WORLD’S FUNNIEST FAILS

Terry Crews has added another job to his ever-expanding resume: host of the new Fox unscripted series, WORLD’S FUNNIEST FAILS, that rewards the best viral videos.
“You know it was funny because I was headed into a holiday and I was working [on] BROOKLYN NINE-NINE and the whole thing and I get this call from my agent and they’re like, ‘Man, there’s this show that’s unbelievable. It’s called WORLD’S FUNNIEST FAILS, and what they basically do is they watch clips on YouTube of all this failure stuff,’ and I’m like, ‘Holy cow,'” Crews told reporters. “My wife and kids, we sit there and watch this stuff all day. You get caught in a rabbit hole. Once you play one video, you just keep going.”
BROOKLYN NINE-NINE’S Terry Crews to Host Fox’s WORLD’S FUNNIEST FAILS

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE star Terry Crews will host the upcoming Fox unscripted comedy, WORLD’S FUNNIEST FAILS, the network announced.
“Terry Crews is already a cherished member of the FOX family. He’s larger than life, quick on his feet and crammed with charisma,” said David Madden, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, in a statement. “We can’t wait to see him interact with the funniest, most spectacular fails on the planet.”
“This show is going to be a blast,” said Crews. “Like everyone else, I find myself watching these viral videos with my kids and cracking up at the hysterical fails from around globe, which is why I’m so excited to host WORLD’S FUNNIEST FAILS. It’s going to be non-stop laughter, fun for the whole family and I can’t wait!”
Crews — who stars as Sgt. Terry Jeffords on the Fox sophomore comedy — is also the host of the syndicated version of WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE.
WORLD’s FUNNIEST FAILS premieres Friday, January 16th at 8 PM on Fox.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE: Terry Crews Teases Season 2

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE star Terry Crews (Sgt. Terry Jeffords) is game for anything.
Case in point: the season 2 premiere (which airs this Sunday) has Crews’ character pretending to be various people/objects that could potentially show up at the precinct…and it is amazingly hilarious.
I spoke with Crews about diving all in to the craziness the show throws at him — and how much freedom he has to make it his own — plus, what’s to come in season 2…

Comments Off on BROOKLYN NINE-NINE: Terry Crews on His Character’s Fear of Going Out in the Field
On BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, Terry Crews’ Terry has a problem — he’s terrified of going out in the field now that he’s a father. (Of twin girls, Cagney and Lacey, because…of course.)
I sat down with Crews to see how that will play out this season, and what Captain Holt will do to try and get him to overcome his fears…

Whenever a new cast starts to work together on a television show, it’s a gamble how the actors are going to gel with each other.
Thankfully, for the cast of Fox’s new comedy BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, things seem to be going really well…thanks, in part, to some random song breaks (off-camera).
I sat down with BROOKLYN NINE-NINE star Terry Crews (Sgt. Terry Jeffords) and he explained why their on-set shenanigans makes the comedy work…
