Apple TV+ has revealed a new trailer for the second season of its murder mystery/comedy THE AFTERPARTY. The sophomore season debuts on Wednesday, July 12 with two episodes, before moving to a weekly rollout. The ten-episode season will conclude on Wednesday, September 6.
According to the streamer, “a wedding is ruined when the groom is murdered and every guest is a suspect. Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) returns to help Aniq (Sam Richardson) and Zoë (Zoë Chao) solve whodunnit by questioning family members, star-crossed lovers and business partners, and hearing each suspect’s retelling of the weekend, each with their own unique perspective and visual style.” New stars include John Cho, Paul Walter Hauser, Ken Jeong, Anna Konkle, Poppy Liu, Elizabeth Perkins, Jack Whitehall, Zach Woods and Vivian Wu.

THE AFTERPARTY’s second season will bow, with its first two episodes, on Friday, April 28, Apple TV+ announced.
In season 2, “a wedding is ruined when the groom is murdered and every guest is a suspect.
