THE FLASH has a lot on its plate this week, as Joe and Cisco head to Starling City to dig into the truth about Wells, while, simultaneously, a metahuman is out there who can shapeshift into some very familiar faces.
THE FLASH showrunner Andrew Kreisberg, Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin), and Carlos Valdes (Cisco) previewed a bit about what’s in store before the recent WonderCon panel…

ARROW’s Felicity and Ray are heading over to THE FLASH in tonight’s new episode, and their timing is a bit awkward — Eddie just found out that Barry is the Flash — and has been asked to keep it quiet — which makes poor Iris as the only one still in the dark.
Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin), Candice Patton (Iris), and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity) previewed a bit about what’s in store…

Comments Off on THE FLASH: Mark Hamill and Andrew Kreisberg Preview the Return of The Trickster
THE FLASH is no stranger to paying homage to the CBS 1990 series — after all the Barry Allen of that show was played John Wesley Shipp, who plays Barry’s father in The CW freshman hit — and in tonight’s episode, “Tricksters,” the series is bringing on Mark Hamill to reprise his role as The Trickster/James Jesse, when a new Trickster pops up and starts creating trouble.
“Just the idea of being asked to play a part decades later,” Hamill joked to reporters after a screening of the hour. “That never happens.”
For Hamill, the decision to appear on The CW’s take was an easy one.

Things could definitely be going a bit smoother for THE FLASH’s Harrison Wells.
Though the rebooted timeline made it so Wells didn’t have to kill Cisco (in the episode 15 timeline, Cisco discovered that Wells was Reverse Flash), he has someone even more risky on his trail: Barry.
Before the recent PaleyFest panel, I spoke with THE FLASH star Tom Cavanagh (Wells) about the tension within the team, and learning more about Wells…

THE FLASH is bringing on Mark Hamill to reprise his role as James Jesse/The Trickster in Tuesday’s episode of The CW freshman drama. And while fans of the original series may be — rightfully — stoked about the delicious guest spot, THE FLASH star Jesse L. Martin (Joe) may have their excitement beat.
In fact, when I spoke to Martin before the recent PaleyFest panel honoring THE FLASH, not only did he gush about Hamill’s appearance on the series, but he also copped to asking for an autograph…on a fabulous piece of memorabilia.
Check out Martin’s story!

In last week’s episode of THE FLASH, Cisco and Caitlin were forced to see the true depths of Wells’ lies to them. Unfortunately for them (or fortunately in Cisco’s case), Barry accidentally went back in time, and, seemingly, everything they went through was erased.
But that doesn’t mean Wells’ secrets are safe. Before the recent PaleyFest panel honoring THE FLASH, series stars Grant Gustin (Barry), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin), and Carlos Valdes (Cisco) share what they think their characters will do when they find out the truth…

THE FLASH: Grant Gustin Teases a Bump in Barry’s Plans

THE FLASH’s Barry Allen has a new goal in mind: find a way to travel back to the night his mother died, and save her from her untimely death. Unfortunately, things might not be as “easy” as Barry had hoped.
“Time travel is something we’re dealing with immediately,” Grant Gustin (Barry) teases in the video below. “[But] Barry starts to learn that maybe changing things isn’t an option.”
In the meantime, tonight’s hour is a big one. In addition to being delightfully fun — and, as THE FLASH co-star Tom Cavanagh (Wells) joked with reporters, “Hashtag game-changer.” — executive producer Andrew Kreisberg pointed to “Out of Time” as the best episode of the show’s run so far.

Comments Off on THE FLASH: Tom Cavanagh on Putting on Reverse Flash’s Suit
We’ve seen a fair bit of Reverse Flash during THE FLASH’s first season, but very often, it’s been a blur — snippets here and there, more often than not, in the midst of a fight.
But thanks to The CW, during the hiatus, we got a full look at the Reverse Flash suit (pictured to the left)…and much like the other suits in THE FLASH/ARROW universe, it’s awesome.
Before this weekend’s PaleyFest panel honoring THE FLASH, I spoke with Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Wells) about wearing the suit…

There’s a PRISON BREAK reunion on THE FLASH tonight, and yes, it was Wentworth Miller’s idea.
