THE PITT is making its linear television debut on TNT, it was announced at the Warner Bros. Discovery Upfront presentation. The series, which is a HBO Max original series, will air on the cable channel before season 2 debuts in 2026.
Additionally, WBD has announced a gaggle of new programming for the 2025-26 season across its networks, including a Octavia Spencer-hosted cooking show, a Tom Bergeron-hosted Shark Week special, a Vanity Fair/Dick Wolf anthology series, and more.

THE PITT—the new Noah Wyle-led medical drama—will debut on Thursday, January 9, Max announced. The series will release new episodes weekly, leading to the show’s April 10 season finale.
According to the streamer, “THE PITT is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each episode follows an hour of Dr. Robby’s (Wyle) 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room.”
