THE VOICE season 9 kicks things off on a high note with this Monday’s season premiere, and one of the brightest spots is Barrett Baber’s audition.
As you can see in the clip below, Baber — whose story will likely make you cry — impressed all four coaches, and the gloves came off as they battled to get him to pick them.

NBC has set the season 9 coaches for THE VOICE — and they’re the same ones we had last fall: original coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will once again be joined by Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.
“With such an astounding group of coaches at the peak of their musical ingenuity and Carson [Daly] returning as our host, we are thrilled for what season nine will bring,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment, in a statement. “The expertise and camaraderie of this panel will provide an immeasurable experience for the artists and must-see entertainment for all who are watching.”
