THE X-FILES 10-episode season is nearly over—and this Wednesday’s hour is the final standalone installment of season 11.
In “Nothing Lasts Forever,” Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully’s (Gillian Anderson) investigation into organ thefts leads them in a much, much, much creepier direction: a cult obsessed with staying young.
Check out some photos from the hour.

THE X-FILES: 4 Teases About ‘Familiar’

Comments Off on THE X-FILES: 4 Teases About ‘Familiar’
After just barely surviving an elaborate A.I. attack in last week’s episode of THE X-FILES, Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) are back to more human matters in Wednesday’s new hour. (But, you know, as a reminder, always tip your freaking robot waiters/chefs. Never forget the lessons of “Rm9sbG93ZXJz.”)
In “Familiar,” Fox previews that “Mulder and Scully investigate the brutal animal attack of a little boy in Connecticut, while suspecting darker forces are at play.” And, unfortunately for the town, that’s just the start of their problems.
And, of course, things are never exactly as they seem. While we don’t want to reveal (or spoil) too much, here are a few more teases about the episode. Read more

When a young boy is brutally attacked by what appears to be an animal on Wednesday’s episode of THE X-FILES, Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) are on the case to figure out what went wrong. But naturally, they don’t believe things are exactly as they appear.

In Wednesday’s episode of THE X-FILES “Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) find themselves targets in a deadly game of cat and mouse.” And while the duo has found themselves in tough spots before, the hour, “Rm9sbG93ZXJz”—written by Shannon Hamblin & Kristen Cloke, and directed by Glen Morgan—is told with only a handful of lines of dialogue.

THE X-FILES is returning on Sunday, January 24th, and Fox is giving it one of the best launching pads of the midseason: the post-NFC Championship Game slot.
But given X-FILES’ built-in awareness — and six-episode run — it’s understandable why the decision to give it that plum spot needed a bit more explaining.

Comments Off on Fox Announces 2015-2016 Schedule
With no X FACTOR or UTOPIA in sight, Fox is sans any huge reality blocks for the start of the upcoming season.
That also means that aside from the Sunday lineup — which is staying untouched — only GOTHAM, EMPIRE, and BONES are remaining in the same spots they occupied for the 2014-2015 season. (And NEW GIRL is off the schedule until January.)

Fox Boss Gary Newman on a Potential X-FILES Revival
January 17, 2015 by Marisa Roffman
Fox Television Group Chairman and CEO, Gary Newman, told reporters at the end of the Fox TCA exec session that there were early talks about potentially bringing X-FILES back for an event series.
After the panel, when Newman spoke with reporters, I asked him what the progress was of a potential series, and who would actually be attached.
“What I can say is that if this happens, it’ll be with David [Duchovny (Mulder)] and Gillian [Anderson (Scully)] reprising their roles,” Newman said. “[X-FILES creator] Chris [Carter] is interested, both David and Gillian are interested. Scheduling is very difficult. David has his show, Gillian is doing something in the UK. I really don’t know how fast it can happen, but there are ongoing conversation happening.”
So, um…anyone else excited?!

Former THE X-FILES star Nicholas Lea will appear on upcoming episodes of ARROW, a rep for the show confirmed.
According to TVLine (who was first to report the casting), Lea will play Mark Francis, an associate of Walter Steele (Moira’s ex-husband), who will have “a crucial part” in what happens next for Moira after the conclusion of her trial.
Lea is currently set to appear in episodes 12 and 13.
Hm…any good theories?
