Before CHICAGO FIRE season 13 kicked off, showrunner Andrea Newman noted the year would be a roller coaster for the first responders at Firehouse 51.

“Going into the season, we kept calling it ‘Lucky 13,’” she told Give Me My Remote at the time. “But we were like, ‘You know, 13 is haunted. It’s a little haunted.’ And that really became the theme [of the season]. And it’s so on point with so many stories, just the theme of shadows and hauntings.” Read more
