After BATWOMAN showrunner Caroline Dries confirmed the show would be replacing Kate Kane (played in season 1 by the departing Ruby Rose) with a new Batwoman when the show returns for its second season, rumors circulated about exactly how that would work—including the potential of Kate being killed.
