The Maddie case goes to trial on the Thursday, April 18 episode of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT.
“I think he’s always going for the win, but obviously it has great importance to people that he’s close to professionally, but also personally,” Peter Scanavino, who plays Carisi, previously teased to Give Me My Remote. “And I think maybe this case has come to symbolize the chance to do something right in a world gone crazy. He definitely wants to bring justice to Maddie and her family.”
