Who Went Home on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?

The judges don’t have a say, and this time it’s up to America. Ten become eight as one more guy and one more girl are eliminated from the competition in tonight’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!

Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to live blog tonight’s SYTYCD show, but I will be posting the names of the eliminated dancers as they are announced (ah the beauty of an iPhone).

Here’s where I need YOUR help! Since I’m going to be away from the TV, I’m really hoping some of you will do the live blogging for me…in the comments. Share your thoughts on everything from the opening number (I hear it’s going to be a Wade piece), to what Cat’s wearing (which will surely be faboosh), to which dancers go home (by money is on Kupono & Randi). I’m going to be relying on YOUR comments to keep me in the loop for a change.

Any volunteers?

    Cat is super shiny! No Nigel? I can handle the break from him for one week. The opening wasn’t my favorite, but it was pretty good.

    I am guessing Randi too but I am happy that America put Melissa in the bottom two. I still think all the girls are better than some of the guys.

    This is the part of the show I always hate. As soon as it’s up to “America” to vote, the best dancers end up get eliminated. ADE, ARE THEY SERIOUS???? I assume it will be Kupono to go home (which I’m OK with) but I still think it should be Evan to go home this week.

    My favorite dancers never win SYTYCD. S1 my favorite was Melody (although I like Nick). S2 my favorite was Travis. S3 my favorite was Danny. S4 I was rooting for Will (he could out dance any of them). This season I’m torn between Jeanette, Kayla and Jeanine. Of the guys I think Ade is my favorite.

    Debbie talking about America being spoiled kinda pisses me off. The judges have not been doing much real constructive criticism so it is almost totally a who has the best dance/costume that gets the votes.

    Apparently I didn’t notice Melissa’s outfit last night. I’m with you Patty that I get bored with some solos and go back to the internet! I guess Ade did the same solo too. Perhaps Randi and Melissa did too…their solos were not memorable enough for me to notice.

    So sad that I missed the live blogging tonight!! I had a semi party (if you can call two gals a party!) with a friend, and we didn’t have the opportunity to get online during it. However, next week we’ll be at MY place, so I’ll make sure to get HER online here!

    Definitely saw Randi and Kupono coming … doesn’t mean I liked it any better, but I guess it’s easier to handle if you see it coming. I really loved Randi, but seeing her paired with Kupono was “eh” for me. I think Kupono is pretty spectacular too, but his solo didn’t amaze me. It’s going to get harder and harder each week, though, to watch people go! And I’m Canadian – so I honestly have no say in this!!! Ack!

    i totally expected it to be randi and kopono. i think the reason randi stayed in so long is because she was partnered with evan. even has a huge fan base (including me) so i dont think he will be leaving for a couple of weeks. and i think melissa and ade were in the bottom because people assume they are safe and dont vote.

    Thanks for updating even though you were away from the TV. My DVR cut off the program before they announced who went home from the guys and Ade is my SYTYCD boyfriend! I needed to know he was safe! I predicted that Randi and Kupono would be going home. I think that Paso Doble did them in. Poor guys, but someone had to go.

    I love Cat but last night was a miss for me. Shiny pillowcase and bad hair. I know you can work it girl! I’ll call in a momentary lapse in judgment and forget all about it 🙂

    It was sad to see Kupono go, but it was time. I was overjoyed to see Jason sent to safety first…woohooo BF Jason!
